Didn't AV say he was headed to Knoxville earlier today. Maybe they can force Currie out before it is too late.

Maybe there is still a chance for Gruden.

As my guy said. It is a "war zone" right now.

I would be really surprised if Currie isn't fired today, I'd be absolutely flabbergasted if he lasts through the week.

If gruden truly has agreed to terms, especially signed a binding contract. Why would that not be leaked by his camp and the boosters who were involved in that? Wouldn’t that surely be the nail in Curries coffin here?

Additionally if Gruden has signed some sort of binding contract, how would he not be owed the same compensation schiano is reportedly seeking?

These are legit questions, no blue font involved.

I don't believe anything Gruden signed would be binding without Currie, et al signing it as well.

If they stick with Currie it will be suicide, if they do that I will take honor in watching them burn. Haslam, Sexton and all the PUPPETS can kiss my arse. I will rail against them as long as I can breathe. I urge fans to DEMAND the same commitiment to our football program and athletic department as the fans give. The fans give a championship effort, what has this administration gave to the fans. NOT DADGUM MUCH in a darn good while. Our administration needs a overall. We can succeed in academics without destroying our number 1 athletic asset. The athletic department has been controlled and held hostage by PC control freak idiots to long. They talk academics and integrity and then try to stroll out Schiano. SHAME ON YOU ALL, GTFO of the good people of Tennessee's university. JUST GTFO!

Can you imagine moving your family almost halfway across the country for a job, then pissing off the entire state you work for and losing your job? All within 7 months... I'd hate to be that guy.

According to the media, any school would be lucky to have him as an AD for the great hire he almost made.

I don't think any coach from the "Top Men" era of this discussion would set foot in this town now. We will be going very low on the list, down to the names scribbled on the back of the page as "if it all goes to ****" hires.

They may have destroyed UT with this. Get ready to fight for bowl eligibility every November for the foreseeable future. This program has been torpedoed from the inside.

I am being super negative I know, but just sit back and look at what these pieces of garbage have laid in UT's lap...unbelievable incompetence and treachery. The problem is the saboteurs go straight to the top of UT. Either they are shed from the school or they continue feeding us garbage, taking in huge donations and then just doing wtf-ever they feel like doing.

They all have to go. Kind of hard when your biggest supporter has the Governor in his pocket though.

So funny people said Peyton wouldn't risk his legacy coaching at UT. If he was involved with this potential hire he will have ruined his legacy much quicker. Should have tried coaching.

From what I can gather, there was a whole lot of lying going on regarding Gruden and support for Gruden and it was from Davenport down the chain in the AD. Those lies were leaked to media members and certain levels of booster and they spread to here.

I also feel now that Charlie Anderson may be Jimmy Hyams source. Jimmy has had Haslam on blast today and pinned all of this mess on him. So I'm pretty sure it's not Haslam himself and many have speculated.

Can Anderson and Thornton take down Haslam? Allen Jones? Guess Ergen isn't a player like we all were led to believe...
