Exactly. It's not the gifts but the memories. I preach that all the time to my kids. Sometimes I think it falls on deaf ears.
My favorite Christmas was the one we call the "Charlie Brown Christmas tree ".
My parents had built our house with their own 2 hands. It was 2 weeks before Christmas and we couldn't afford to stay in the place we were renting.
Even though our house wasn't finished we moved in anyway. We had a wood stove for heat and it was freezing in the house. All the insulation wasn't installed in the ceiling and it was bitter cold. We all slept in one bed for warmth. Lol
We cut our own tree and it was the ugliest, scraggliest cedar you ever saw... ie. Charlie Brown Christmas tree.
We didn't get much but it was our first Christmas in the house they built. It was awrsome.
I heard two days so telling the crew to hurry up makes me think they dont want anything going wrong for Tuesday.
Hoping for Sunday but Tuesday makes more sense for MNF and maximum coverage.
thats a great memory . I'm sure your folks are special people!!Exactly. It's not the gifts but the memories. I preach that all the time to my kids. Sometimes I think it falls on deaf ears.
