Official Jon Gruden Thread XLII

I heard two days so telling the crew to hurry up makes me think they don’t want anything going wrong for Tuesday.

Hoping for Sunday but Tuesday makes more sense for MNF and maximum coverage.

Didn’t they move up our game from 7 to 4? Maybe for extra cleaning time?

Exactly. It's not the gifts but the memories. I preach that all the time to my kids. Sometimes I think it falls on deaf ears.

My favorite Christmas was the one we call the "Charlie Brown Christmas tree ".

My parents had built our house with their own 2 hands. It was 2 weeks before Christmas and we couldn't afford to stay in the place we were renting.

Even though our house wasn't finished we moved in anyway. We had a wood stove for heat and it was freezing in the house. All the insulation wasn't installed in the ceiling and it was bitter cold. We all slept in one bed for warmth. Lol

We cut our own tree and it was the ugliest, scraggliest cedar you ever saw... ie. Charlie Brown Christmas tree.

We didn't get much but it was our first Christmas in the house they built. It was awrsome.

Exactly. We didn’t have much but my fave memory was one year when I got hardly anything at all and then Santa delivered what I wanted a couple of weeks later. I’ve never forgotten how hard my folks tried to get what their little boy wanted.

Lol, I’m not saying I know anything

However Tuesday makes the most sense to me from a MNF perspective. Saying goodbyes and all of that

I think the goodbye could come after a Sunday announcement. IMO, it makes more sense for him to say goodbye after everyone knows.

I saw someone post earlier that they film shots of new coaches in there as “promo” style videos for the introduction... I don’t recall this from past announcements, but makes sense.

I agree with Tuesday but I don't think Gruden will say anything on the air Monday night / Unless they pay tribute to him.

I hadnt been on all day but I seen a article say something about to expect a Name for HC by Sunday today, and for Media not not to linger or something after the game in Neyland can someone enlighten me on tis. Thx.

SIAP

Saw on ESPN ticker that Florida is interviewing frost and Patterson just got a raise and extension. So these are likely off the list

It might and I would love it

I just don’t know how the NCAA would look at JG getting announced Sunday then doing a national broadcast the next evening
