I won’t cry if we hire Peterson. That would be a great hire. But to compare him to Gruden is absurd. Gruden is a Super Bowl winning rock star with every connection known to man. That’s exactly why everyone doubts we can hire him. They think he is too big for us. But with the people that are supposedly working on this and a possible ownership in an NFL team as a sweetener then this is a real possibility. Peterson wouldn’t require nearly this much to hire him.

Just not true. Sunday is the perfect time. People are over thinking this. We announce Gruden on Sunday then he says good bye on Monday night. You don't announce Tues unless he's gonna call games 1 more week. Sunday is the perfect time to announce him.

Currie has been successful tamping out leaks. If it were me, this would seem like a wonderful time to find out who my friends were, the blabbermouths, the leakers, the loyal. Each day I would tell one person a “rumor” so I could analyze the stream through which it flowed, ensuring a loyal chain of command in the future. Do any of you guys think like this? The integrity of my team would be just as important as my hire. Would smoke the mf’s out.

I just want Gruden to hire guys he’s familiar with and who can coach. I don’t care if they are Tennessee guys. They will be soon enough.

I don’t need a staff who has to get to know each other. I think lack of a cohesive staff was a big part of Jones’ issues. Of course he caused it, but I don’t think everyone was on the same page most of the time.
