With the right coach Tennessee could be back easily within 2-3 seasons imo

Screw the self serving NFL. Lol. But I think a Tuesday/Wednesday announcement would make more sense but for some reason no has reached out for my insight.

Its going to explode regardless.

His hand will be forced one way or the other very soon.
I just have a strange feeling the question will come up and he’ll take a short time to say no, I’m not going to UT and they’ll go back to the game.

I hope we start getting some juicy leaks Sunday and maybe even some "slips" on MNF. Then BOOM!! Tuesday.

That's if I could have my way.

You act like MNF takes up a lot of his time. Other than for the production meeting with the coaches and players, a few hours of studying tape, and maybe going to see a practice, there isn't much more to his broadcasting job. One of the arguments people used for why he wouldn't take the Tennessee job was because of how little he worked right now and how much money he's paid for such little work.

If Kirby Smart could balance preparing for the national title game his final year at Alabama along with recruiting for Georgia, I'm sure Gruden could balance calling MNF games while recruiting for Tennessee.

Plus think of how this helps recruiting. Having the head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers football team calling Monday Night Football for the next 5 weeks is incredible free publicity for our program and should help when it comes to recruiting kids in the 2019 and 2020 classes. They probably watch the NFL more than they do college cause that is where they ultimately want to be. It would be great for us in recruiting if Gruden is calling Monday Night Football games while officially the head football coach at Tennessee.

Every Black Friday at 3 am I was standing outside Phipps Plaza in the cold waiting for them to open at 8 am to let us in. Over the years I got to know some great people because it was the same crew in line year after year.

The Phipps Plaza Santa was the absolute best. We used to see him every year and he remembered different things we got for Christmas the previous years. He always told us to remember that Christmas is really about Jesus and celebrating His birthday. Great man.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ll take Sunday. The sooner the better. I’m sick of the M****n talk and the sooner that ends, the better. Imagine this:
“We need to fire Butch Jones because lost to our biggest rival. Who can we hire? How about someone who also lost to their rival? Perfect!”

No thank you.
