Just something I’ve been pondering...

We have several on here that I view as reliable insiders. Some believe Gruden is a lock others have predicted other coaches, but all say the AD has things so tight that only 2-3 other than Currie really have the full truth. Do we believe that any rumors or insiders on here miraculously are one of 2-3 or are all insiders info merely guesses based on breadcrumbs?

I think it could be Gruden and hope it is but it could just as easily be absolutely anyone else!

I was told directly that the AD has everything on lockdown and that All information being leaked is coming from the Boosters ... so this makes Currie the big question mark in my mind... but I believe he has been helm in and if wants a lengthy tenor he needs to get Gruden

Here's a thought: if that WASN'T JG in the Calhoun's picture, shouldn't it be fairly easy to produce a front-view picture of who it really was? There aren't tens of thousands of people in Knoxville that would be invited to eat with PM.

I think someone posted such a pic pretty early on and it was forgotten almost as quickly as it was ignored.

It was also confirmed by USA Today that Chip Kelly turned down an offer from UT. Don’t completely rule out that the Seattle confirmation could be smoke as well.

Actually, USA Today backtracked on that. UT never offered. Kelly's camp reached out to UT.

Calhouns in Cool Springs lasted about as long is it takes me to blink. They have a prime spot in Knoxville for gamedays. Not much else I can say in their favor.

Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure that if Gruden was at Calhoun's, the game, the grocery store, etc.. that there would be 10,000 clear pictures of him. Stop this madness. It's like how there's never a clear photo of aliens or Bigfoot, despite the fact that everyone is walking around with an HD camera in their pocket.

Good point. Also who else would be eating with Peyton Manning? Unless it’s a guy from that 97 team. That would have been disproved already IMO, so I don’t think it was just some Joe Shmo eating dinner with PM. With the similarities to Gruden it had to be him. Especially with all the people saying it was him.

Seriously, Peyton Manning is eating at a table of prominent guys wide open in the middle of Calhoun's, and nobody snapped a picture or two that shows the mystery man? A bear craps at the zoo and 47 kids have instantly immortalized the moment with their phones.
