to the point earlier. If peyton wanted calhouns it could have been taken up to the skybox. Going into calhouns with Gruden would be intentional, to be seen and heard and keep the rumor mill churning. Peyton isnt necesarily acting on behalf of the AD in all of this. Something to think about.

Some believe Gruden is a lock others have predicted other coaches, but all say the AD has things so tight that only 2-3 other than Currie really have the full truth. Do we believe that any rumors or insiders on here miraculously are one of 2-3 or are all insiders info merely guesses based on breadcrumbs?

I think it could be Gruden and hope it is but it could just as easily be absolutely anyone else!

Wouldn't your 2-3 also be a rumor? We have know way of knowing how many are in the know.

Nobody would be taking a front view picture of someone that isnt Jon Gruden at a restaurant. Why didn't anyone take a front view picture if it WAS him? That would be way more likely.

No lie, Hyams was arguing with a caller on Monday about the black uniforms against USCjr in 2008. He's still defending himself and his sources.

You are spot-on. Also know for a fact there is a disinformation campaign. Only problem is figuring out what that disinformation is. Hate to agree with Dobbsforheisman, but he was right in saying it's foolish to keep a Gruden rumor at the forefront of such a campaign if you're really hiring a Google or Mullen. With what I heard yesterday, that's the only thing giving me hope.

I don't have permission to share the post or the picture, but I have friend whose daughter was at some kind of weight lifting or workout competition in Florida on Saturday morning till early afternoon-ish. She took a picture with JG and posted it on Facebook. I don't think he would have had time fly in to Knoxville then cross country to Seattle by 9pm? I have also corroborated with another friend of mine that used to be a high level manager at Ruby Tuesday's that said the manager at that Calhouns is in fact a huge Alabama fan. He said he wouldn't put it past the guy to try to pull off a stunt like that.

I am all Gruden, but I don't think that was him. I don't have any stats, so no need to check them out, but I am telling you what I know to be true.
