Just a thought but how is Frost significantly different than PJ Fleck? (Who was also undefeated at G5 job, and now has losing record at much easier job than UT)? UT will break the bank on a proven winner this time, can't take the risk of an up and comer.

Further down the rabbit hole. Using a PGP word list this translates to:

Pluto/Molecule
ratchet/outfielder
inverse/impetus
Burbank/Chicago
pupil/newsletter
classroom/corporate
stormy/stupendous
woodlark/yesteryear
trouble/underfoot
tumor/unicorn
rocker/pharmacy
reform/pandemic
seabird/processor
cleanup/corrosion
atlas/backwater
miser/Istanbul
accrue/aftermath
assume/autopsy

Anyone have any thoughts on where to go from here?

Fingerprints can also be generated as a shorthand to look up a specific or unique file in some type of archival system.

Guys and gals. We have a long weekend coming up. Let's all kick back, grab a beer (Faceless, have some wine) and enjoy the moment.

My guess is that I do not grill him/her and pound with questions about it. The information was offered not solicited. We were talking about other business when it came up.

You did say that any other time it was brought up , it was only laughter .

From the beginning, two groups have defined this. The discontented, result-demanding, Gruden chasers and the establishment, participation award loving, Butch bricklayers.

The Grudes have been told there's a renewed commitment to the program. Multiple posters/sites with access have alluded to this change. Claims have been made to recruits. Some reputable posters have even claimed big boosters drew the necessary lines in the sand to move Butch out effectively after the GA game.

The status quo anti-Grudes meanwhile argue that it is business as usual. John Currie didn't really want to fire Butch. The power structure hasn't really changed. Those folks believe they have the right read on Jon Currie and UT's BOT.

Since the firing, the camps have existed in two completely parallel universes. The anti-Grudes championed by Hyams, Lowe, etc continue the basic theme that the status quo is alive and well. No Gruden; No big money for coaches; No booster or fan influence; etc. While the Grudes continue to receive information stoking their belief that CJG is coming home.

So what is reality? Are the Grudes being led along to keep them quiet during the hiring process or are the anti-grudes just so dang arrogant that they cannot recognize their obvious shortsightedness?

Either way, I think we find out soon. The establishment is starting to put out Frost/Mullen announcement rumors for next week. Grudes are prepped for Gruden next week.

My point? We're about to find out not just who we get as coach, but whether there's truly been a fundamental shift in the attitude toward the program.

If Mullen or Frost trot out, that tells me it's status quo. The lazy establishment media is propped up by UT in exchange for predictability. Academicians, who are educated beyond their intelligence, will continue to call the shots for an entity over which they are singularly unqualified to have authority. Mediocrity will be accepted as long as it provides modest financial return.

If Gruden marches out, then the "we cannot expect to routinely win 10 games" crowd has been tossed out on their collective ear. Establishment media will be "dis" established. The academic side will focus on managing and improving their part of the UT and the athletic side will handle athletics. In short, it's a reset for UT. People who have gotten results in their business careers will obviously be demanding equally successful results from their University.

Call me fatalistic, but if the status quo shows up, I think the exits get crowded. If the "safe" hire happens to be successful, it won't end up mattering because without the new commitment, we'll lose a strongly successful coach to someone who is committed.

Jon Gruden walking out on that stage is not just about getting Jon Gruden. It's about setting an expectation for our University. It's about whether we are determined to be great, or whether we just want to protect the status quo.

SOON better be the answer or "never again" may be what we get left with.

Good thing SOON is the answer. :)

Step 4 of the crypto complete. Our words are:

Pluto outfielder physique quantity inverse Chicago pupil corporate stormy yesteryear trouble unicorn rocker pandemic seabird corrosion atlas Istanbul accrue autopsy

Not sure where to go from here. Never solved a crypto that has full words.

Here's another list:

http://www.webplaces.org/passwords/lists/hexadecimal-65536-list.txt

Fact is, there can be as many of these lists as there are people out there who want to create one.

It's almost as random as the old one-time pads, and probably nearly as impossible to break. Gotta find the right pad in an internet-sea of pads.

p.s. The pad I linked came up with these insightful translations, depending on whether you run it forward or backward:

nestor myxomas juries omits suavity umm pumpkin refund beaten acutes

acarpous chokers pentad detail smallish upprop naturally sardonyx suslik bosks (reversed)

I trust that Currie is on a private jet back from Nassau right now kicking back w an adult beverage knowing he has made Tennessee great again

Happy Thanksgiving and Go Vols
