Freak and Mods please delete anything if people start disclosing my personal information since some on here know me in real life.

I run a company that provides goods and services to the University and particularly the Athletic Department. I am very good friends with some people in the media but the first "real" info I got was today the rest has all been discussion based on context clues and what I consider a realistic thought process.

Freak knows me, knows who I am as well. I do not work at UT or anything like that. I would be considered a "booster" I guess but not a very high level one. I spend my money on Boats and spend it loosely lol.

Agreed. I keep waiting to see an article titled "Breaking: __________ has accepted HC position at Tennessee" and it not be posted by someone with less than 100 followers and no sources.

That's not how I took his quote. I took it to mean there was the decision on who would be coach and then there was another issue. The two most likely of the options being, who would be the coach-in-waiting if indeed this is a long-term plan or when the announcement would be.

Shake off that stink, man! AV was cheerful and talking about planning a golf outing for charity. Yes, he said there’s plan b, but there’s not anything to suggest plan a isn’t working.

Yea I can see where you are going with that. But at the same time it could mean basically Plan A, and Plan B. Just worded better than that. I just got the feeling he was trying to prepare us in some minute way that it won't be the Grude. Because he said something to the effect of "he would be ok either way" That alone says to me we have two choices in a coach and either one we hire would be fine with him.

Just trying to look at things from all aspects at this point
