I have NO idea how this works out. But he will not leave MNF without giving his viewers a "final goodbye." Will he do that this Monday, I have no clue. I also don't find it hard to believe a contract has been signed and it has a future active date and he continue on with MNF for another broadcast. Not sure! I would enjoy opinions on how this plays out....

I think that Currie introduces Gruden first then the next MNF CJG gives his farewell speech and thanks ESPN.

Only thing that worries me is that the timeline now could just as easily align to any coach who is finishing their season this weekend but everything seems to be aligning!

I believe there is ZERO truth to Chip turning us down, but even if we had offered, would you drop one potential suitor during what appears to be a bidding war with other schools? No freaking way, unless he has the dumbest agent in sports, you do not eliminate a player when you could use them to keep raising the stakes. Just ridiculous to believe we even offered.

When someone has a job opening, they interview more than one candidate. Even if the first one nails it, they still interview others. I can see them making Chip an offer, but maybe it was just not what he wanted. If they didn't, oh well. Who really cares and it changes nothing going forward.
