(2- slim chance, but id call Bob Stoops' agent with an 8mil offer just to make him turn that crazy offer down)
3-Patterson
4-Jimbo
5-Franklin

Then Mike Leach and Mike D'Antonio and Mike Gundy (the Mike trio) as "Honorable Mentions"

And yes, Mullen should be around #10-#11 on the list when you actually count the number of better coaches to go after with big money first. We shouldn't hafta go lower than Our Top5 if Currie opens the checkbook

I do not believe at all we offered Kelly. Too many people had objections to him. Which honestly ticks me off, I wish we had offered him as he's as sure a thing as there is out there.

The narrative that UCLA is going to break the bank for a big coaching hire is laughable as well. The University of California system is not likely to go for a bank breaking coaching salary, they certainly never have before. If Kelly goes there it's for one reason, to avoid pressure.

I don't think TN offered him either but should have if Gruden said no Kelly was next man up.
Glad we didn't get that far to offer Kelly.
