For one thing, young folks (not all, but a lot) just don't want to work at anything physical. Our society is teaching them that you can make money without working hard. I can completely see that and understand it. However, not everybody is going to be able to get a degree and get a job that will keep them afloat. truth be told, the competition is so great at most jobs that college grads are looking for that you are at the mercy of the employer.

Now, go learn a trade? Say welding, electrician, flooring, etc. About 10 years from now you are going to be in high demand because nobody is doing it.


I also think the same is going to happen with teachers. Right now, few people teach for very long right out of college because it is really stressful. I think in 10 years there will be such a need for teachers that salaries will rise tremendously.

The only non medical fields I can see booming over the next decade or more that requires a degree are cyber security and software development.

Drone Pilots, I just attended a security conference where the estimate for civilian drone pilots will rise drastically by 2020. The estimated number was 70,000 new pilots, at an average of 100k per year. The smart move is to get your 107 certification.

Bill King had Josh Newberg on this morning and they both laughed at the Grumors and Newberg even got pissy saying it was ridiculous and he didn't want to hear about it anymore. King said there was " a better chance Gruden shows up at your house for breakfast".
