When some of the posters who come in here saying that Gruden wouldn’t be a successful college head coach fail to mention that Pete Carroll was a worse NFL head coach than Gruden, and look what he did at USC. He didn’t even win a Super Bowl like Gruden did. With that being said, I’m not saying Gruden is a sure fire failure or sure fire success in college. I’m saying that a coach with a worse NFL record was highly successful in college, and it could happen if he became our coach.
