To clarify I'm the biggest gruden fan of them all but until somebody knowledgeable on this forum comes and says otherwise, I'm not feeling togood about it. Not trying to be negative, it's just the ebbs and flows of what this situation is

only problem with that is he would have to take control before January to secure the top 10 recruiting class that will mostly sign in december.

Nobody reloads better than saban does and I think Peterson is that same type of coach. JMO though. I'd be happy with Patterson to, frost is still a mystery to me. Obviously gruden would be on the same level but I get the feeling him saying No is gonna come out being true

I think it is speculations. I don’t see them just quitting on Gruden even if he turns offer down which is what only a few are speculating. When you are wanting something bad whether women, house or even coaches you fight hard for it and think that’s what Tennessee is doing right now. Peyton and Fulmer will not fail us. If for some reason If Tennessee doesn’t get Gruden which I think they is not finished issue... we will pursue some great coaches from what I am hearing.

Sounds like we are down again.

I'd be fine with Petersen or Patterson. Chip Kelley too, but I bet he stays out west.

Doesn't matter. Despite me believing he would do a good job and like you said be on a mission to beat Saban, Tennessee will never hire him back. Imagine just how pathetic it would make us look after the way he left.

Sorry If I missed the discussion on this, but did Jimmy Hyams say on the radio yesterday that Butch wouldn't be fired unless he loses to Kentucky? Seems pretty unbelievable.

I hear what your saying, it's just natural for us to over analyze something negative than something positive. Negative news is gonna outweigh positive if that makes sense

It won't be Kiffin but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if that's the caliber of coach we end up with.

He's weird. Either he has impaired cognition or he knows Currie can't get a good coach so they've decided to keep Jones.

I'm thinking it's the former.
