I have always leaned to after Kentucky... that would be with a loss his 5 th SEC loss and the BAMA loss could be explained away in the public view.... a 5 loss SEC team cannot be explained and is a better look on UT

This whole scenario is exactly why I didn't want Butch to get an extension and maybe only a nominal raise after last year. Who was going to come after him that would have paid the buyout anyway? No one. The SCar and Vandy losses should have put the brakes on extensions and raises until we saw most of this season. We had seen enough from Butch to warrant extreme caution going forward.

Edit: he just said no Gruden. But a big hire is coming.

I'm just curious, if the unthinkable happens and Gruden just doesn't want to coach here, is there any other coach out there that the majority of the fanbase could get behind? Maybe a Bob Stoops or a Chip Kelly? Patterson at TCU? It would have to be someone more proven than guys like Frost, Brohm, Bobo, etc.
