You fire him after the Bama game. Their is a chance UT beats KY. UT shouldn't risk the chance of Jones beating KY and then firing him after a win. After the Bama game the rest of the schedule is very winnable. If he has been let go like some have said you have gotta do it after the Bama game.

Yeah, at some point there has to be some "put up or shut up" for it to go forward. People can only talk for so long before they need to make a decision. It shouldn't take weeks to get a yes or no.

Heard two stories....after BAMA, or after KY. I believe after BAMA, but won't be surprised otherwise.

It makes sense to do it after Bama. It's stupid to wait after that. After Bama, no loss is guaranteed. You run the risk of waiting a lot longer than you want to.

I think the consensus is you want to name a coach as soon as you can because of the early signing period.

I just do not know how he can stay especially if they hang a 60 burger on us. This is why a "reasonable" buyout negotiation with Sunday announcement would be best. But he has a few million reasons to just make them fire him and eat the buyout. Currie has a lot on his plate. This is the biggest decision involving generational money implications that the University has ever faced imo. There can absolutely be no screw up this time
