Carter was always very Willing to consider his info could be wrong or change. Very different from the rest

I like the way you think. Might get some righteous indignation from some of big boosters who were originally on the sideline during all this.

Bottom line...either all of the informers received bum info or the Gruden hopefuls were punk'd. I choose to believe they received bum info, but we will never know. Could have been just fun for them to spark what would become an inferno...

booster side. could be totally unreliable, i'm not passing it off for people to believe or anyhthing. it's just what i have been told and it makes sense to me, but it might not to others. not trying to stir the pot it's just what i was told as of a little bit ago. he text me and said you wouldn't expect the news to break until it happened and until gruden finishes his espn duties, be patient. now, my own opinion is if they hire someone soon, then we will know that info was useless, but for now i am content with holding on what i have been told. FWIW

Why would you risk your relationship with a major news network/media outlet by walking off the job too soon, quitting on a major investment by that network, which is MNF. Its just smart business. Especially when that relationship means so much to college football/recruiting...Plus if your compensation was tied back-end to the season, ratings, etc, why would you walk away from the bonus there -and not just wait another week, get ESPNs check AND UTs check?!

Hart hasn't hired a new coach yet has he? Could still be Gruden. Might be better off waiting to bash sources until AFTER someone else is hired. IMO

But, at the end of the day, I'll find a way to get excited about whoever they name as our new head coach. Just like I did with Kiffin and Dooley. I'll find reasons to be hopeful and excited about what might be. Because I'm just a football fan with no control what so ever.
