Here's what it all comes down to:

The TFP is sticking to its guns 100%. What they reported about Gruden pulling his name out of the search came from AD.

The AD has been on lock down since the beginning and in the wake of the Memphis story, said they would release no info until the search was done.

It seems he was reporting the same statement that was given to KNS, by an "unnamed source". Seems legit... not really. I'm not expecting Gruden, but the TFP is as legit as they come, I'm not ruling him out. There's a ton of backtracking and conflicting statements from both sides, just doesn't add up, doesn't mean its not over though, it probably is... just strange, can't wait to hear the story, if we ever do.

I'll be honest. I'm not confident enough to be full Gruden, but things are all set up just right for the door to still be cracked open. We'll see where it goes from here. I'm just saying, what the TFP wrote is a big X factor in all this.

The source is Strong's agent and when offered by UT he will turn it down and use the flirtation to get a bigger deal from Louisville.

I am hearing that until there is an official white flag announcement on gruden from hart, keep the faith. could be denial, not thinking so at this moment. does seem to hit the wonder bone. why wouldn't dave hart address it? wouldn't hire a garage band to open for a crowd expecting the 1987 guns n roses lineup without first telling them guns n roses is never getting back together....

IMO, I believe Gruden didn't have anything other than a mild interest in being Tennessee's coach. Combine that with Hart NOT giving him the full court press equals the debacle that happened.

Think both parties are at fault, but mainly Hart because he is a selfish d$ck...again, only my own opinion

I hate to admit it, but this game between the two teams I hate the most is pretty damn entertaining atm.

Edit: Murray just got LAID OUT wow.

Yeah that was a punk move too. Guy took a cheap shot directly to his head.

How the ref standing directly behind them looking at them didn't see it is a mystery to me.

Just curious, would Saban winning the SEC Championship help any with the remote possibilities of getting Gruden? I mean it's our hated rival winning another one. Maybe the older boosters would be willing to go the extra mile to get it done?

I do not think we will ever know a quarter of the story let alone all of it.
