More on Gruden. I will get blasted for sharing that though since it is not what many on here want to hear. I am amazed how many pay attention only to info that supports what they want.

One theory would be that Nooga Report=Lamonte.
Lamonte using media/fanbase to leverage talks. Hargis was adamant about mainly one thing, Gruden wants to be here.....

LOL actually first. I dropped to 50-50 at one point when I got some negative information.

This is the first time I am saying unequivocally that I DO NOT believe even the slightest at this point that Jon Gruden will be the HEad Coach of the Vols. Straight enough for you? I am as pissed as anyone about it, but reasonable enough to see the massive amount of writing on the wall. Not a single credible person I know says it is still an option that can back it up with any specific names or information to make me believe anymore.

Hey Bcarter, my fear all along has been that Hart's ego would cause a major F up. IMO, Hart does not like being told what to do or who to hire, especially by boosters. Do you have any info as to which side has killed it? UTAD or JG? By the way I also think that the tug of war between money boosters and Hart is the reason for the conflicting info between booster side and UTAD media group.

I've been thinking that also. Replace Stoops with Fisher and scarily enough, makes a heck of a lot of sense. As Fisher finishes his season, his assistants go elsewhere, Hart chases off Gruden, ends up hiring buddy from FSU.

1. I'm for Fisher if Gruden says NO.
2. I'm NOT for Fisher on principle if Hart or UTAD does ANYTHING to blow this deal.
3. I think it will be Gruden in the end. Boosters will win out.
4. If Gruden lost due to ANY fault of Hart or UTAD, Hart should be fired asap.

Thank you. For me, Stoops is the only name that would ease my pain if we don't get Gruden. For you, it's Fisher. We don't have to agree on that. But, as for the rest, we are eye to eye.

Are your feelings really that sensitive? So if you are a Vol fan then you can't pull for anyone else in the SEC? I grew up bleeding orange. Notice the bolded.....Jon Gruden knows what Nick Saban did not.

This is much more emphatic than anything Gruden has said. And look what happened.

Very possible, especially if ESPN or an NFL team is offering him a better contract than the one he's got.
