Wait. So here is our official denial by the AD. With Saban he denied and was hired three or four days later. So we have our denial on the 30th and oddly enough the "3" reported by oldvol could have mean't the 3rd of December. Obviously, grasping at straws here, but holding out hope. :)

While I wouldl love to have JG, UT should not give him everything including the kitchen sink to get him. If his heart isnt in it for the right reasons then we need to move on and find a coach who can move us out of the basement of the SEC and represent our university with integrity and respect.

Folks---It is over. My opinion is this series of threads has been a giant scam just for the purpose of producing a high post count just for some into that kind of entertainment. I'm putting my support behind Butch Davis or Fedora. I support Dave Hart 100percent. His back has been put aganst the wall because of this scam. GOVOLS

If this thing is offically dead then I want to hear the well compensated AD get in front of a microphone and tell the fanbase that UT is moving on. There are coaches that are being considered in this search and then there is Jon Gruden. Fly all over the place and be covert with the pack of other coaches. I don't care about them. Get your words on UT letterhead or a camera and tell the masses the bad news about Gruden if true. We already will hate you but at least man up. You are paid to do that. Don't hide behind the local media to spread it. That is lame.

it's is over peeps, which for Hart it never really began. The only real thing I blame him for is letting it go on this long. if Gruden wanted to be here he would be...bottom line.

Long time listener first time caller.

I know the position these OG's are in because I have been there on things not related to UT football. Things change and the info is usually second hand at best, but I firmly believe there is some truth to their reports made to this forum. I do find is quite odd that a few of the OG's have disappeared. Question remains did we get are man?

Hart is either a dead man walking in terms of his job.

If jon gruden doesn't want to be our coach then the hell with him. Let's move out attention to a good prospect that would do well and would have passion for thr big orange. Also if he never had any true interest then he and the university should have squashed the rumors before it reached the amount of publicity it has as of now.

I'm not an insider by any means, but it's easy to see that this is a power struggle. It's been the boosters vs the university. Sources on both sides are getting different information. Who knows what will happen and who'll win out. John Brice hinted at this last night that Gruden wouldn't be a popular choice by the AD but obviously the boosters are pushing it. Guess we'll all have to wait and see.

Thanks for clarifying University Source...not direct press release from University spokesperson.

I guess that leaves a glimmer of hope.

NO Donations=No season tickets in my designated area for the last 20 years...so yes I could give the minimum but look the AD paid my scholarship while I was in the band and not even a music major......so I give to the school and the AD...I owe them

Hubbs, Hyams and Rucker do NOT have all the info. They have said Gruden was never a possibility from the beginning and now we are surprised they are saying it now...This will all come out in the wash you either believe or not, but quit quoting Hyams and Hubbs they are not in the know...I thought this had been proven since they started covering UT....

Boro has said dec. 5-10 or somewhere around there the whole time if I'm not mistaken. Most of the others have said today
