This afternoon I was contacted by a coworker who was informed by a life long friend and local realtor that Jon Gruden was in the process of purchasing a home in the Getty’s View neighborhood located in West Knoxville. Take this for what it is at this point and add it to the rumor mill but I believe the dye has been cast and the deal is done. Maybe it’s denial, delusional behavior, or wishful thinking caused by the Gruden Fever

This was posted in the cliff notes. My stepmother is the golf pro at Gettysvue and knows what's going on in that neighborhood. I've heard nothing that would lead me to believe this was true.

That's because they think that they run the show. I shot a text to Swain and Rucker yesterday for trying to act like fans were taking this too seriously. They had a grand ole laugh at Vol Fans expense. I told them I found it oftly self defeating to attack fans for taking sports too seriously. Told them that maybe we should just stop waisting our time listening to sports talk as well. Swain tried to back track and called me out for it.

I had to go back to work when the discussion of the KPD mmeeting with the university was heating up. I guess for security on campus for a large crowd? Was there any fire to the rumors?
