Just curious if you have heard anything about an assistant AD and someone from JG's agent's office having really heated phone conversation yesterday?

Maybe OV or Boro will chime in on the question also...

Orangeslice, the "if" earlier about dave hart working it out, is this from ur source? Thought gruden has been on board for awhile now?

Couldn't agree with this more. I run a small boutique recruiting firm in Knoxville dealing with executive hires for high tech/biotech. It is always a give and take, even more so at the higher levels. I will say this, deals rarely go down as planned when they are this high on the food chain so don't be surprised if this gets drawn out past Friday, or as late as mid Dec.

I got depressed earlier thinking we lost him. After weighing everything, I think they are deflecting attention away from him so they can hammer out the deal. Way too much went down today, from Mike and Mike, Hyams report, Golden interview, etc.

I am again fully confident Gruden is coming. Can't freaking wait!!

just wonder why a man in Hart's position would fly to interview other coaches as part of deflection or a smokescreen.

That makes zero sense to me.

One my old professors studied dog evolution, and he found that domesticated species were MUCH better and more skilled in the begging department...like standing on their back legs with their arms up like that. In other words...they learned it from human behavior and now it is ingrained in their dna

This same EXACT thing happened between Saban/Boosters/AD....same thing.

It may take some time.

At what point and time do we quit begging and throwing money at people/coaches in hopes they will come pretend to bleed orange for us, Fulmer bleeds orange and is one of us if you look at his record over the 17 years when he was here he smokes almost any possible coach we could hire, I understand its a business and you can say what ya want but at the end of the day i want someone who respects UT and its great history and wants to win not to keep his job but because he bleeds orange as well.

Don't know about OV but i get the feeling 'Boro has had enough of us for a while....
