I for one have Gary Patterson as my second choice--but they haven't called me yet for my opinion. Still holding out hope for GRUDEN! :salute:

I have Patterson as my #2 as well. But Gruden is #1 in bold with underlines and stars.

Sorry, really can't. Not trying to be a man of mystery or anything. Just somethings I'm not real comfortable putting out there. But, where there is a will, there is a way. And I do know that UT biggies, UTAD, and Grudens all want a deal and the money items and staff hires are not longer issues.

My confidence is at an all-time high.

I am convinced all of this is last-minute posturing. A cardinal rule of negotiating is to test and find the upper limit. Keep asking until they say no. In actuality we've likely already passed the threshold for reaching a deal.

Deals like this do not progress to this stage and fall apart if the driving force says 'make it happen.'

I find it hard to believe Cindy will accept that it's progressed to this stage and then JG couldn't make it happen.

In the early threads (Gruden 3-7) people thought the idea of even having a chance at Gruden seemed far fetched. The "Rumors" seemed impossible, the "OG's" laid it out and spoke of deflection, denial and very little info coming from the AD as the time comes closer, Guess what? is that not we are experiencing at this moment?
