Official Jon Gruden Thread XII

You can't say Jon Gruden's going to be the next University of Tennessee head coach until he says it.

Even then there needs to be a news conference, a meet-and-greet with boosters, a get-acquainted session with players.

There must be something more concrete than a potential tweet into cyberspace that all this might really happen for it to be believable.

But with each day that comes and goes without a Gruden statement of denial, the improbable becomes more and more possible, if not downright likely.

Were this legit, I'd be seriously concerned about the quality of education I'd be "reciveing" at Webb. I'd make a more "infrom"ed decision. Regardless, they're "accepeted".

"In the even you ay still have questions"...ok I'm done.

The weird part is that the wording sounds legit. That's the hard part. They totally screwed the easy stuff - like spelling.

After reading into the whole Browns ownership, it makes so much sense... it seems what they are doing, is offering a contingency plan for Gruden, signing a trust to UT, this requires that Gruden stays for so many years before this can be signed over to him, meaning he would be stupid to jump ship. I'm sure the agreement has to do with his success as well though, probably and SEC Championship or better is required. This isn't against rules, a coach can be involved with a pro team, but he can't received compensation from it... so it could also mean he could own it and not receive money from it while he's coach, not sure the exact rules on that.

Maybe UT could offer Jon Gruden a Bill Dance fishing trip with Dolly Parton and Kenny Chesney singing duets on the boat.

This is how all Worlds end. The Mayans could have told you this. One world ends and another begins. I will be back on VolNation after the rebirth. Remember your friends, family and fellow Vol fans while wandering in the wilderness during the blow-up. Its not as bad as it sounds.

Tomorrow is shaping up to be the greatest day of my life! Confirmation of the coach I want for my Alma Mater, and a winning Powerball ticket! (I can feel it already!!)

Could life get any better?!
