Ok grillmeister let me put it this way lol

I will be VERY concerned but if no news comes out over the weekend; if none by the time I go to bed Sunday night I will have given up hope as that would invalidate a vast majority of the evidence and information that I view as true. It would take very very credible new info as to why for me to continue believing at that point.

Might as well come on over to the dark side now buddy haha

WHAT AGGRAVATES ME THE MOST IS WE ARE GOING INTO GRUDEN XII BEFORE THIS IS OVER!!!
LOL just kidding this has been a hoot and such an enjoyment as a Vol fan. Its almost GRUDEN TIME IN TEENNNEESSSEEEE! !!

If coverage increases and more things begin to leak we could be well into XIII when the announcement breaks

The idea that UT admin has the power to quiet the media is pretty ridiculous, but even more ridiculous is the notion that they would even try.

I have worked in the industry for nearly 20 years (including sports media), and I can say for certain that public figures will not say ANYTHING to the media that they don't expect to go public.

I know that there are times that a particular reporter will cut a deal in order to work a future advantage, but the idea that "the media" is being controlled as a whole in order to manage some big PR splash is simply inconceivable.

How do you explain it any other way...

My bad on the Cliff Notes post. Work has fried my brain at this point.

FWIW, I stated that sportsanimal993 is a 'fan' twitter and not connected to WNML. Didn't want someone getting the wrong impression.

This makes sense.

I think what we're seeing in reality is that nobody wants to be that guy who breaks it (like Clay Travis said last week).

Gruden does have a history of leaving teams at the alter (ND - per Chris Low)... and I think that many in the media doubt the UTAD can get their crap together to make such a monumental move actually happen.

If it's Friday, surely it'll leak in next day or so, correct? As soon as UT schedules the press conf., wouldnt it begin getting out at that point anyway? Usually, you'll see other coaches pull out of contention right before an announcement to save face, so look for that from Butch Jones, Golden(again), etc
