Some believe it is done, others just think its close, as in everything has been agreed to, just waiting on Gruden to sign.

Still others think that it is no longer possible, and then there is Hubbs who can't make up his mind.

The NCAA isn't knocking on their door. They self-reported violations and took Luper and Trooper off recruits for a little while. That was the end of it.

Then why is the NCAA still investigating? Its far from over.

One of the things I always find funny about guys like Trav, Rucker and guys from that time period at UT's journo school is the lengths they'll go to do point out "Hey man, I'M NOT A FAN. I SWEAR IT!!"

Rucker will flat out say it, and I always get the sense Haney tries to distance himself from UT.

Its correct. Even Finebaum said they have been down there.

Golden and attendance at the U are not correlated. Miami natives as a whole hate commuting an hour from the university on buses to the stadium. Second you are competing with the beach. People forget about the heat, and other things to do in Miami. The school is private with roughly 10,000 people, and most students could care less about football. Still don't think Golden is a great hire, but at the same time that doesn't exclude him as a bad coach.

Wonder why Phillip Fulmer has never landed another coaching job, his overall record was solid just his last few years were rough. A few years back I thought he would take the Kentucky job, Randy Sanders was already there.
