Very simple difference.

A Gruden hire would get Volnation all excited about the program.

A Fulmer hire would divide Volnation.

There are fans that love Phil.
There are fans that blame Phil for the downfall of the program.

Gruden would be a great hire
Fulmer would be a terrible hire.

Maybe already talked about in here, but wasn't today the day that Hart was going to interview Mora or ask permission to interview Mora per someone who heard from someone's source or was totally made up. Who knows what to believe anymore. I do believe in Gruden though!

It's not that I don't think he's coming. Its that he has been saying no way it happens for awhile. Yet he admits we're talking to him. I find that interesting.

If Petrino lands at Auburn you can bet they will contend right away...I wish we would not be so stubborn and go for him if Gruden fails.

He is not going to AU, guaranteed. They are in enough trouble with possible sanctions they arent going to bring in a character risk in Petrino

Not to be rude, but I kinda liked it, Fulmer had issue's at the end but our offense wasn't good, and Chaney now has us putting up 30 or so a game and god knows I love John Chavis some part of me thinks he should have been offered the job before Kiffin. I live around Atlanta and TEE MARTIN did great here.

I disagree about Gruden. I think the party would be on. If Gruden were to be introduced at TBA, I'd guess there would be a SRO crowd. And I'd guess Neyland would be around 80% for the Orange White game next spring. But that's just a guess.
