Here's an thought that might be intersting to consider dealing with the procedure that has or doesn't have to be followed.

It's my thinking that universities have different procedures to follow but can deviate from them under certain circumstances I.e the hiring of DD.

This gruden situation is very unique when looking at who is brokering the deal. If Haslam is involved like we all assume he may very well be requiring procedure to be followed to protect himself from any perception he allowed anything to happen that wasn't completely above board.

So you think the space between the fire and the hire is to separate the boosters from the situation and allow Hart to hire the guy the boosters set him up for? IE making it look like Harts hire.
