What is it with the comical attempts to set a "timeline" on VN. If Gruden has been hired then it will be released when Hart and Gruden mutually agree to do so. Recruiting will not suffer if it is this week or next or Dec. 21. The impatience that helped get us in a bind to begin with is showing itself again. Relax and enjoy the process.:)

Someone will take McCarron, Geno Smith, Murray(?), Barkley, Wilson before Bray, he'll be back.

I'm not an Urban fan at all.....but if you just saw the story on GameDay....that's why you get Jon Gruden in Knoxville now!!!! Time to make the average GREAT!!! GO VOLS!!!

I agree with BC that Bray has the physical tools. I watch Peyton a lot on Sundays (I know, the gold standard), and I would like to see Bray come back and work on the following: (1) mechanics:he has a tendency to throw from his hip, which leads to high throws under pressure; (2) understanding and adapting to defenses; and (3) better management/throws according to down/distance.

And, he needs to show he can complete a two-minute drill with the game on the line. This is his most glaring deficiency right now.

His stats in the last 5 minutes of games are pretty bad.

I've haven't seen anything on Landry Jones so I don't know. Sam Bradford had a good rookie campaign and did pretty well the next year when they had Josh Mcdaniel as OC until he got hurt. He doesn't have a lot to work with either. Danny Amendola is a solid receiver but he has never finished a season. Behind him, they don't have anything to help Bradford. He would do wonders with a receiver like Aj Green.

Before that game I would have put him in the top 2 QBs coming out of the combine, and things could change, but as of right now I am certain he will return.

Ill accept my apology next year bc after bray is benched the guy is not a leader and has a ****t* westcoast attitude that's not gonna fly under gruden

If bray can rebuild his makeup perception which a new coach will help he is a 1st rounder if not at the top of it IMO. Nobody has more to gain than bray with the new coach

Actually, no its not. I was a bartender in Knoxville my whole time at UT. At one of the craziest bars there is.

Bray is a huge partier. It is more of a problem than you think.

Here's a list for you of the UT players that probably ruined themselves because they wanted to go out and get wasted and hunt chicks every night.

1) Crompton (trust me, it was bad)
2) Ainge
3) Janzen
4) Hardesty ( great guy, but was in my bar every weekend.)
5) Haynesworth
6) Cedric Wilson
7) Bray
8) Rick Clausen (not that he was good anyways)


Seriously, our problem at quarterback has been all mental. These guys would rather get wasted and chase tail than play QB. Believe it or not, but ive seen it, and much worse behind the scenes.

Indeed. Enjoy the ride. Seems like some think that Gruden is 50-50 on coming to UT and if he reads VN and sees them posting about being worried about him coming here, that will seal the deal and he'll come to UT.

Me, I just can't get in to deep with something I have absolutely no input or control over. Makes for a smoother ride during the UT coach search.

Barkely and Wilson, probably. I highly highly doubt the others will go ahead of Bray. Bray has the physical tools you can't teach. He will do great in the combine and a team will take a chance on him

Go Vols. Go post Dooley era Vols. Gruden coming. Another Kentucky winning streak starting that Gruden will do nothing but continue. It is a great day ladies and gents.

Ridiculous post!!! Peyton was on the strip multiple times every week. I saw it. Did it ruin him?? Darn near every college athlete parties get over it!!!

Doesn't matter, Bray is a project, atleast a late 2nd rounder, and yes, Geno is projected #1 QB in draft right now, Murray would be ahead of Bray as well.

Bray is gone. I don't understand how some many peps dog bray for his attitude. He has 1 sec win in two years because we hired the worst coach in the history of the program. The only man alive who wouldn't have attitude in that situation would be Timmy Jesus Tebow. Get off his back and put yourself in his shoes.
