Assuming that TN has in fact made some sort of offer, that is correct. The one thing that continues to make this seem possible is that he hasn't issued a statement saying no. He reportedly told Arkansas no very quickly.

If Gruden, in fact does become the VOLS next HC , like in yrs past they have a theme for that season like, "it's time" or whatever else they've used. I think "Armagruden" would be awesome! They could put a chucky face on the jumbo tron and it say's "Chucky wants to play". They could make Vols t shirts and make a ton of money!!! Jmo of course...

YET you fellas say it's a done deal with Gru. So Gru could care less that Jimmy Cheek won't give him the total control he wants? That dude and the provost could care less about Gru and aren't going to let him "HAVE THE KEYS TO KNOX" .. just sayin'

If you SOURCES guys know its a done deal then whens the presser LOL u have NO CLUE that's silly u think Haslam doesnt know or these boosters dont know if it was done

Been following and lurking since Gruden VIII (I think) and finally decided to register. Props to the night shift crew, you guys are a hoot and kept me amused while I was at work.

Lots of good insight around here and good info from the OG crew. Thanks for getting my hopes up that the program is finally looking to get back on track where it needs to be. After our last two hires ended up in disaster, I was hoping third time would be a charm. Looks like we nailed it (or will soon...God it can't come quick enough)

Why has nobody discussed the fact that Gruden's orange hair is an obvious indication that he is a lock for UT? Orange hair = orange blood
