So LWS has finally admitted we are in negotiations with Gruden.

I thought we had a signed MOU. It would have covered the material terms.

I believe that Jon Gruden was in Knoxville today and will be till Saturday. I overheard this from an Assistant AD conversation.

I also believe a deal has been agreed upon for him to become our HC but no papers are signed. "Hand shake" agreement like

I don't know what the details are exactly. One guess would be on the rumor that he wants Chad Morris as OC. Morris has a huge buyout and maybe Gruden is pushing for UT to pick up that tab? Just my guess.

My question is more for people who were on TOS like ron swanson during the last coaching search or knew a lot about the details.

Why did Coach Cut turn us down? Ive heard he wanted to bring his entire staff and UT said no. But, ive also recently read that he was about to accept however he was told we had a "few more people to interview" and he withdrew his name from consideration. again sorry to digress slightly.

I've gotta hand it to all of you OG's. I'm fully on board the Gruden train, but you guys haven't wavered in the slightest since the rumblings of this began. Every deal is a done deal until it isn't, and that could still happen here. Irregardless, mucho props to you all for your conviction.

Why Would Peyton have give all this money to the University if it was not for the Gruden Deal which is who he has been trying to get here all alone anyway. I don't see it being any other way. I think people just like to start crap to get under others skin to get a rise out of them. Gruden is done and has been IMO since that news came out. I'm all in and never backed Down Gruden 100 % Chuckys coming and Hell cometh with him.
