Hubbs said Hart has a lot of obstacles to sort through before interviewing candidates because he has to be able to know what to tell them in regards to athletic/academic divides.... YET you fellas say it's a done deal with Gru. So Gru could care less that Jimmy Cheek won't give him the total control he wants? That dude and the provost could care less about Gru and aren't going to let him "HAVE THE KEYS TO KNOX" .. just sayin'

If you SOURCES guys know its a done deal then whens the presser LOL u have NO CLUE that's silly u think Haslam doesnt know or these boosters dont know if it was done

* My brother works for Cadillac in Knoxville. He has delivered Escalades to coaches Sunseri, Dooley, and even Cutcliffe in NC. He will also detail an Escalade if a recruit is coming in for a visit. He said that usually for that they send the base model. However, he was told today to go and detail the nicest Escalade that they had because someone from UT was going to be using it to pick up a "very special guest" at the airport on Sunday. He also said it was an extended edition because they were probably bringing family. Now, this could obviously be any coach, but I just figured it was some nice information to pass along to my VN family.

Wouldn't this make sense regarding the contact period for recruiting? If I'm not mistaken, doesn't that start on Monday?

Me too my man. It's just that several media are on the other side also. Personally, I'd be thrilled with the hire. I'm on the fence on believing though. Hope you guys are right. Like I said, some have stuck their necks out, not that that's hard on a message board, but they will be blasted if wrong at this point.

Everyone is fixed on the Gruden/Tennessee side of the equation, but there is a wild card factor in all this mess .... ESPN. Will ESPN allow a hire like this to proceed or will they throw a wrench in the whole deal? I would love him here as much as anyone else, but in the end it is money that will do the talking. ESPN has more money to throw around than any college team out there.

Arkansas got their escalade ready to pick up their new coach this weekend.
