Grugasm- noun 1. The feeling of overwhelming and uncontrollable joy, excitement, and elation from the hiring of Jon Gruden as the next TN coach. Example: My wife just had an orgasm while I had a grugasm watching ESPN announce Jon Gruden as the next coach of TN. Example #2: Mal Moore had a grugasm when after the announcement of Jon Gruden, Nic Saban was announced the next head coach of the Cleveland Browns.

Your apprehension is understandable and I have no stake in you believing this or that so not sure what to offer you. I have never made a prediction here as far as staff. I did say in week 4 that we would finish 6-6 at best and probably worse.I have only been super close to the program for 4-5 years and rarely posted before this. It's huge, and amazingly cool to see it unfold. If I were to name names I would not have many friends or my job.

It won't be long now, its trickling down. No one I know close to things thinks there is any possibility this doesn't happen. That's where my assurance comes from but not here to make you believe but rather to share in the excitement I feel that grows with every person I talk to that are involved or close. Like I said if I am wrong, people I trust very much in my personal and business life will either have misled me or been misled and some are the people you do not mislead....ever.

* My brother works for Cadillac in Knoxville. He has delivered Escalades to coaches Sunseri, Dooley, and even Cutcliffe in NC. He will also detail an Escalade if a recruit is coming in for a visit. He said that usually for that they send the base model. However, he was told today to go and detail the nicest Escalade that they had because someone from UT was going to be using it to pick up a "very special guest" at the airport on Sunday. He also said it was an extended edition because they were probably bringing family. Now, this could obviously be any coach, but I just figured it was some nice information to pass along to my VN family.

I will say I have made some friendships that I know will be lifelong, and have enjoyed getting to know everyone in this debacle lol. There are some good people here, and some far more connected than some of you are willing to accept, or have the ability to believe without pictures and sworn notarized affidavits and such. I look forward to the party where we toast and head in the stadium to support our new coach.

It will soon be over, everything will fade back to the FF. I hope Freak will give us an OG forum but if not I am sure we can figure something else out.

Go Vols, GBO, VFL and all that entails. History is about to be made!

BC, almost sounds like you are signing off? Maybe the announcement is coming very soon? I hope so. I'm ready to make this thing official, head back to the recruiting forum, and watch us land a bunch of 2013 stud prospects.
