Look, we all agree when this hire goes down, it will be one of (if NOT THE) biggest hire in recent or all time college football history...public relations wise.

Take the magnitude of that story within itself and plug that into the media time machine. So far, I can guarantee you that TSR alone has received more attention than it ever has in the past month. Why? Because everybody is riveted to the Gruden story like its the Truman Show....for good reason.

You think for one second that this media is going to let the fire burn itself out by allowing the fans to be satisfied that we KNOW what is about to happen. Yeah sure, lets talk about his wife, or maybe his car, dog, or cat...NO!

They keep throwing fuel on the fire creating this seesaw effect so the RPM's rev up to redline...then thy let us back down again. An here we go again.

Take it all with a grain of salt...and let it dissolve into the fluid. It's radio. It's TV. It's news. It's sports. It's money. It's a business. It's college football...the biggest number one piranha food in the country.

There are so many insiders that have been getting solid linear information for weeks now...hell, I'm gettin it and I live in Colorado.

Go with the flow. Te best way to fight your anxieties over this is to turn it around...laugh at the media and don't fight it. That's what they want. They are like strippers in a night club...taking you money and making you feel like she actually really did like you.

Hyams says that it is the money 4-5 mil that was wanted for the staff. The other issue was related to power. Someone mentioned earlier today that Gruden wanted to report to only 1 person.

At least we know that we are in negotiations with him. That is a positive to me!

Patterson, Gundy, and even Fisher will not be the key to reviving this program. It has to be a MAJOR hire such as Gruden, Johnson, Cowher etc.

He is out of the loop and has been butt hurt ever since most of his sources went with Fulmer. Just trying to get publicity for himself. IMO

The Sports Animal is the flagship station for UT, they know who pays their checks

TSR is a rogue station that wants to become the Flagship Station

It is all about making money right now for these 2 sports talk stations and keeping everything up in the air means more ad dollars to be made.
