Can't you just get the same dog breed and just say it's related to Smokey (as it is in a way)? How would he know the difference?:thumbsup:

been lurking in the Gruden threads for awhile.... I must say I'm 100% sold that Gruden is coming based on the massive amount of information. Go Vols!

According to a source in the AD that still talks to Kiffin, Kiffin loved TN and has nothing but good things to say about us! The ONLY reason he left was becasue USC really was/is/was his dream job

a little beer,a little hooch,etc...

you guys have made the last few weeks enjoyable,
somehow through all the xanax,ritalin,menstrual type induced mood swings we have around here,you guys stand firm with solid info...

and would love to see 90k+ for an OW game...

LOL! Daddy will know...and will live with the guilt thereof every time his son gloats about having a descendant of Smokey....hehe...

That's understandable but my complaint with Kiffin leaving was the fact it was a few weeks before NSD and it put us in a bind.

Agreed. But also he wasnt the play caller under Kiffin and doubt he will be under Gruden either. But obviously the players love him and seems to be a good QB coach and very knowledgeable. Honestly doesnt matter, we have Gruden and its going to be his offense so the OC will probably just be the relay guy and needs to be able to recruit.

Could be he is a short term solution and Gruden would be calling plays like you guys say. I just wonder if the guys pride can handle that again. I know he gets paid a lot of money and loves the area but it is time to move on perhaps

Diane's Canine School of Charm here in Knox has trained a lot of the Smokeys in the past. They could probably get you in the right direction.

It would be such sweet irony if it was actually Kiffin who had a little something to do with Gruden being our coach. I could almost forgive him. Almost...

I am with you on this Smokey....

It has never been the fact that he left... but the way he left...I think he is in trouble at USC now...If he does not win against ND....may not cost him the job, but will certainly land him directly on the hot seat

I would like to ask our insiders for the following:
Do not hesitate to post if the supposed November 30th date gets pushed back...everyone, including me (LOL) will have a coronary if November 30th comes and there is not an announcement. Let us know ahead of time please.

We would want our new coach to do the same thing. We'd want them here before NSD to save and improve the class. I don't like Kiffin, but I understand the reasoning behind leaving when he did.
