Sonny Dykes will lead them to the promised land! LOL!

Seriously though, they could do a hell of a lot worse. He is a good coach after all.

Its not like he won't be in a good stituation talent wise - will just have to keep the ball rolling.

sounds like a good fit to me..

Same question I had... Is he a good coach yes, but can he compete with Saban and Company

If it is Strong, you will see lots of recruits and signees from the South Florida area mainly Miami and Broward County areas. His recruiting is very strong in these areas. Just take a look at the current Louisville roster. Yes, he can recruit!!!!

Raising her right...bet your parents let you know about the State game.

We're not the bragadocious type. I went with my dad (MSU alum), uncle (MSU alum), and brother (UT alum but grew up State fan)--they were all pretty classy about it. Dad said if we had played in Knoxville, UT wins. He's a UT fan when they don't play State anyways...I mean, he sent both his sons there, why not?

We had a great time, I grew up going to Starkville, not Knoxville, so going to Starkville is always fun for me. The city sucks, but my uncle has an awesome tailgate, so its great. What's funny is it took us 1.5 hours to get out of Starkville and they acted like it was the worst traffic in the history of MSU. I had to laugh...just said "well don't come to Knoxville and park in the Fort, if you think this is bad."

I didn't think Peyton could be any any more beloeved by our fan base. it looks like I was wrong. If When this happens and word leaks out about his involvement, they are going to have to change the street to Saint Peyton Pass.

I wonder if sitting in Neyland stadium and seeing our Vols pummeled on national televeision by Bama got his blood boiling to such a degree that he had to step in and do something

It just has to suck for them. You set out for Gruden, he's supposed to (according to their 'insiders') announce, then - BOOM!

ESPN Insider comes out and says there's a decline, no big names are expected and Sonny Dykes is now the leading candidate.

...ouch.

He would be an elite recruiter.
