I would give you a high percentage on the fact that he said it, although I didn't hear it.

Whether he is reliable is another issue, but the fact that he is in NY and really has no horse in the race and speaks to an audience that is largely ambivalent about the Gruden to Tennessee rumors speaks well for its veracity.
