The thing that bothers me is when people say "my sources" when they really don't have sources. Case and point: The Peyton Manning to the Titans fiasco. People's "sources" had him locked up here, take it to the bank, he's a Tennessee Titan. Then bam, he's a Bronco.

I am scarred for life and refuse to believe anyone's "sources" unless those sources are directly from the big-wigs at the University of Tennessee or Jon Gruden himself.

I won't deal in blind faith kinda things like this. Carry on though. I'll be the first to say we'll win 10 titles if Gruden comes ...

I am a realist of sorts and simply do not see Jon Gruden coming here under any circumstances. With all the problems this program has had lately I will believe good things when I see good things.

To say Gruden wouldn't come here under any circumstances is not being a realist but a pessimist. Other than things have gone bad lately and will continue to go bad what reasons do you have for believing this?

October was a record setting month for new Volnation members in Gruden threads and November may surpass that. Funny how all the newbies come in here and spout the same ole same ole

I joined when Fulmer got fired to follow the craziness of the coaching search. Appears bad coaching is good for VN business.

The best name on here I saw last month was (Kameron Haslam) if that doesn't scream troll nothing does.

Gruden may as some say be an "unproven" college coach but even if he was mediocre which he won't be the recruiting impact and change in mentality for the program would translate to wins and competing for the SEC year in and year out.
And yes, that's a run on sentence.

You can believe or not believe what other people post, but you are not qualified to difinitively say posters, "really don't have sources" when you quite frankly have no clue either way (like most of us).

They may or they may not, and we can choose whether or not to believe them.

That is the second or third time Hubbs has mentioned Gruden putting together a staff so far. IF he is already mentioning details about the potential Gruden staff it shows me that this is very, very real and there are just going to have to be the final nail put in Dooley and the boosters following through with the $$$ to make it happen.
