I would react the same as if he had said it as head coach of UT. Acknowledging your enemy's strengths does not acknowledge their assured victory.

Bama is a great team. We just need to take steps to assure that they sweat when they hear our name, instead of going to sleep.

I just can't believe he is - he's talked about moving with 'urgency' and that football has to be the life blood of the AD. Those all fly in the face of allowing a 7-5 coach to come back to post yet another 7-5 season.
