Sorry kap , at no time did i say the hAslim family is not worth billions , They did just spend a billion on the browns . I have never been associated with money , when they liked not getting a return .

look at the link in post 7022, the one right under your's. It's all good though. A billion is more than I can imagine. I read on Forbes site that they paid 980 million for the Browns. I would have never thought the Browns were worth nearly a billion.

Couple things-

Gruden talk is real regardless of oci regurgitating what had already been said elsewhere. It's about time you guys caught onto that anyway. Also, oci is not sab.

800 million is roughly .25 of 3 billion. I have no idea of what size debt they carry but every drop of petroleum is expensive to hold. Not to mention trucks, planes, who knows. Either way it is a load of cash.

Hard to know who owns what. Jim, Jimmy, and Bill are/were all involved in Pilot. The 3 bil may be divided somehow.

Not defending OCI in the least because I don't believe him on this one, but I actually didn't take his posts in the recruiting forum the same way as others have (i.e., I didn't think he was admitting he was a troll). I've followed him for a while on here because I (mistakenly) thought he had decent info. I noticed over time he had a tendency to make fun of himself occasionally and I thought that was all he was doing there today.

For my part, I came away from that thinking he was still standing by his predictions and expecting Dooley to get fired soon and replaced by Gruden.

Still, don't think he's right. TIFWIW

I haven't followed OCI much, and he seems to be posting information at a more detailed level than most.

I agree if the right people get involved they will make it happen. The real question is how bad do they want it to happen. I have had multiple conversations with friends in the AD the last couple of weeks and it is tight lipped.

If a mod came on here and lied like that just to stir up shat I would never come back. No way I believe that. SBV believes what he posted to be true. Freak cannot have a mod doing that imo. With that said SBV seems like a solid guy based on other posts. I know Jay now off the forum and he knows me, so what he says go with it imo. The only person that came off as shady was OCI and that just very recently. He just seemed to be riding coattails before that tbh.

I am fine with Tubs if we swing for the fence first. I would be fine with Golden too. Tuberville wouldnt be a splash but he is s olid coach with a nice resume and recruited decently at Auburn if I recall. You have to wonder if Gran would be his OC.

Al Golden is 37-44 in his career. He will be no better then Dooley. Tubbs is hired then we will continue to be laughing stock of SEC.

One thing that we cannot dispute is that for every game in the last two years that is not a Florida, Alabama, or a Georgia, we have empty seats in that stadium. I'll admit that I have not gone even when my finger is hovering over that buy button becuase, frankly, it's tough to get excited right now. Lots of people in my family have gone to most of the games. Heck, my kids have gone to games but I just can't do it. I would rather buy it on PPV or watch it on TV.

Just this year, if attendance averages hold for the lackluster games on our schedule = 7 home games with an average of 17,865 empty seats (excluding Bama and FL) = a loss in revenue of $3,979,125.

Multiple that by 3 years and you get some real money.

Hart has to get people excited about UT football again.

I would not think a moderator would be trolling. God I hope not. I've lost 2 & 1/2 days of work (retired, working for myself as well) trying to keep up. If all this is a troll job, I'd be outta here for good, and I would suspect, so would others.

I believe there is something to all this. Neither party, Hart or Gruden, has denied or confirmed the "rumors". It is in the media as well, not just VN. Common sense says someone would have already addressed if false.

i dont know, smoke. evidently there is some contention with the guys in the recruiting forum over this forum. why? i have no idea. they call it the gruden orgy. i assume he was was either covering for ridiculous proclamations he made or trying to impress those guys. either way, he is branded forever.

Those guys worship at the altar of OCI. Consider the source. Judge me by my "enemies". I feel really confident in the judgement you arrive at if you do so.
