You Grudenites will be sitting here 3 years from now screaming for his head. The landscape is riddled with successful NFL coaches who failed big time while coaching college teams. Gruden wasn't even successful as an NFL coach. Just ask Tampa Bay Buc fans who will tell you he ran the program into the ground there.

Grudenites, just put your thinking caps on and don't just gush with your emotions.

Chances are slim he would even want to come here, but if he does, I will be behind him 100%, but expectations will be low.

Everyone saying Hubbs wouldn's say anything is right.

He wouldn't say anything CONCRETE, but he if you reread his statement he gives some pretty definative statements about the current situation.

He states he believes nothing will be decided/done before the end of the season. The athletic dept wouldn't make him say that.

He states that Gruden is listening to TN, but he is also exploring NFL options.

He states that TN will be looking to pay top dollar for a coach if in the job market.

HE says a lot of concrete things. So if he knew that Dooley was already "fired" and Gruden "agreed" to coach then I think he would say something more concrete towards that.

he would never even suggest Dooley was fired this early if it was true. They wouldn't let him back at practice for reporting that.

...and when did you come to this conclusion Coach Saban?

UT's private airport.

No, but seriously, if he weren't flying commercially, he wouldn't be in the terminals. If they saw him pull in the front entrance, it would be a different story.

Makes sense, though, because that weekend, Hart was using the UT jet to go court Belichick. He said he was happy where he was, so we're stuck with Gruden.

Oh well, gotta have a backup plan.

Didn't need Belichick anyway.....

So from what I can gather. OCI is the love child of Hubbs and Hyams and Gruden is flying commercial since he knows private planes sometimes have trouble landing in Knoxville. Correct?
