This is where we will have to agree to disagree. There is no way he will have the fire during Bama week that a coach with orange blood would. He has spent 40 years despising everything related to the Vols. He may be able to flip his coaching switch, but he will never be able to flip the ingrained to the core switch.

If he's the kind of competitor that he appears to be, there will no game all season that he would rather win than Alabama.

I was just given some information from a very reliable source. Her uncle/stepfather lives in the same trailer park is the people that clean Jeremy Pruitt's house in Alabamastan. They said all this talk about Pruitt is a smokescreen by the vast right-wing conspiracy of luminaries. When Gruden said Rocky Top in the Seattle interview, it was code to get all this started and the secret plan to takeout Kim Jeong Un. TIFWIW

I am here to face the music.We all wanted and worked hard for Gruden but didn’t get it done. If you need to yell or insult me then get it out now. As I said, I will still honor the golf and party next year.

Beaver, Not here to bash but wanting couple answers. You said "we have our white whale" and regarding your people going for Gruden that those folks do not miss. Why those comments if we never had Gruden? What happened there?
With thousands of things out there about him and the job, why didn't he deny the job publicly or the university put it to bed?
Thanks for responding and I appreciate what you, AV, RTSC, and others did about bringing much needed change to the AD. We'll be much better for it going forwards.

Mr. SFD coached his alma mater's rival before coaching at his alma mater. He did better (players were better) at the rival. But we talked about it this morning...he worked equally hard at both, but the losses at his alma mater hurt worse. Of course there were more of them, so..
