Those programs are miles ahead of our current situation. He’s an unproven head coach at a university that’s had a huge sh**show of a season. You don’t catch 5 star recruits with that rep.

You believe Pruitt to be a good hire. Good for you. I don't. I see it as reliving the mistakes of our past. Only time will tell. But questioning my passion for the Vols is idiocy on your part. I'm every bit as passionate as anyone on this board, or hell, even Phil Fulmer, about wanting what's best for this team. I do not believe Pruitt is what is best. I could be wrong, but so could all of you that scream he's a great hire. After Butch, I would think anyone of any intelligence would understand questioning a HC, but I guess there will always be those of you who sell out to a coach while throwing fellow Vol fans under the bus. For the sake of the team, I hope. I pray, he succeeds, but in no way do I believe he will. I fully expect in 3-5 years we'll be paying him an exorbitant salary while searching for our next head coach, and that pisses me off.

Whether you agree he is a good hire or not isn’t my beef. It’s when you go on a rant about how you’re done, selling or burning your tickets, and trying to publicly shame our AD and Fulmer over this hire.

I’ve been on this Gruden train the whole time. But serious question, if Pruitt comes in here and does what Kirby done at UGA you mean to tell you diehard UT fans don’t support that guy cause he’s not a UT guy? Was Lane a UT guy?

If he wins here I don’t care if he come from Indonesia! As a fan we’re supposed to support and not fire them without giving them a chance. If you don’t want to spend your money there anymore, fine but don’t bash the team that you supposedly LOVE.
