Geez this give up attitude is just silly. JAV is reputable but what if he was fed misinformation or a smoke screen. Until Currie or Gruden says no...STAY THE COURSE!

Remember Saban said no and was mixed reporting on his hiring up until the day of...

Again, he literally said in his own post that you can't believe anyone who says they have an AD source cause the AD is not letting anything out.

So by his own post and logic, he can only have the "correct" info directly from someone in the AD office, which he literally said you can't believe someone who says that.

Sure he never came right out and said his source is in the AD office, but his implication that the only correct info is from the AD leads to his info being wrong as well.

Everyone needs to calm down. It’s not over. It’s prob still being hashed out. These things take time.

Look at all the leaks, it’s obviously in the works. Gruden’s trying to assemble a staff; however, he “respects other coaches”. Meaning, he’s going to let these coaches focus on their current job at hand. I don’t know if you all have ever done any internal recruiting, but the first thing you do, is to talk to their supervisor. If their supervisor says, “let us get through x amount of games because I need my guy to be focused on the job at hand”, you respect that.

With that said, try and use some emotional intellegence and understand that these things take time. I’m not an “insider”, I’m just being rational. Look at all the leaks. Look at all the clues. It’s, obviously, in the works.

As far as false reporting goes. If you were the AD, and you wanted the media to not report any leaks, what would you do? Perhaps, you would talk to said media, that is “in the know”, and strike a bargain with them; that if they keep this under wraps and help misdirect everyone, then in the future, you (the AD) will let them be the first to know the behind the scenes happenings of the University.

Everyone keeps acting like a psycho chick. “Where is he? Why hasn’t he called? I’m going to call him 1000x till he answers!!! Ok that’s it, I’m going to his house right now!!!”

Just be patient, use some emotional intelligence, and everything will be fine.

I agree there isn't any reason to jump off of the bridge to one side or the other until it comes from the 'official' source....

BUT something needs to be said. Who want's to come in at UT (behind the Gruden dream) when the fan base is already 100% not going to like the fact you AREN'T JON GRUDEN...it's going to get to a point where it won't matter WHO we hire, no one will be satisfied.

You keep babbling about moving on, yet you are still here, not moving on and just still babbling. If you are convinced that Gruden has said no and this thing is a wrap, why on earth are you still ITT? Is it to save people? Is it some ego thing with you? I can promise you, no one in here needs saving......except for maybe Behr.

I’m usually neutral on different Knoxville media members, but Hyams is coming across like a jerk in this search. Even if he’s right, he needs to stop being condescending.
