Through all of the GIF training sessions I have yet to learn how to post one myself so we may have to schedule another training session here soon.

Step 1. Google - "what you want" gif - example: boom gif

Step 2. Click "images for" whatever you searched for in the results.

Step 3. Find the one you think you like and click on it in the results. This should open up a preview of it actually moving (may have to load for a few seconds before starting).

Step 4. Right click on the moving gif image you have in front of you and select on the drop down menu "Copy Image Location".

Step 5. Reply to post or topic you want to insert gif. Type exactly this with no spaces and in between the 2 bracketed commands use control+v to paste the image location you copied
.

It will look like this with no spaces. I had to put spaces to make it not post the gif.

Then you have

A few things.

JAV's comment is concerning, no doubt. He's been solid for years, though I don't know what his line of connection is. It would be unwise to see those as completely irrelevant.

From day 1, what I have heard, and said on this board, is that it's all about timing. In Currie's mind, he had a plan for how the remainder of the season was going to play out. He began working on this plan after the UGA game. The original plan was to let the season play out, and remove Butch and hire Gruden in short order. That plan got thrown off by how abysmal this season became. Remember, after the UGA game this team was still 3-2, so a bowl game was an expectation that many had. The worse the season got, the more the timeline got shaky. After the South Carolina and Kentucky losses, pressure became very intense to do something. At that point, Currie's plan was to remove Butch after the 7th loss. Giving up 50 at Mizzou was the final straw.

But Gruden also has a timeline. And it's not just about MNF and ESPN. There are other factors, like his coaching staff. He doesn't want to be announced as coach and then have to figure out his staff. It's about having the right guys, but it's also about having them from day 1 so they can hit the ground running with as much momentum as possible. So now, Currie is left in a tricky situation. Something has to give. Optimism and positive leaks reached a frenzy on Tuesday night and Wednesday. Thursday morning, it reached a fever pitch when Gruden goes on about Rocky Top on the radio. So what does Currie do in that situation? IF you knew you couldn't announce it yet, you have to begin to push a negative narrative.

Remember from his press conference, Currie said not to believe anything unless they heard it DIRECTLY from him. He said this because he knew he was going to have to buy some time, and that he was potentially going to have to push a negative agenda to calm the masses. But this way, he has deniability because we never heard it from his mouth.

At this point, you're left with 2 choices. Do you believe the sources saying the deal is dead? Or do you believe it's about timing? Do you believe Gruden trolled us with the Rocky Top line? Or do you believe he meant that genuinely?

I stand with our guys! I can't quite claim official OG status, but I'm riding with you guys. If Atlanta comes in and says it's over, then fine. Until then, ignore the noise and Grude on!!!!

Everyone needs to calm down. It’s not over. It’s prob still being hashed out. These things take time.

Look at all the leaks, it’s obviously in the works. Gruden’s trying to assemble a staff; however, he “respects other coaches”. Meaning, he’s going to let these coaches focus on their current job at hand. I don’t know if you all have ever done any internal recruiting, but the first thing you do, is to talk to their supervisor. If their supervisor says, “let us get through x amount of games because I need my guy to be focused on the job at hand”, you respect that.

With that said, try and use some emotional intellegence and understand that these things take time. I’m not an “insider”, I’m just being rational. Look at all the leaks. Look at all the clues. It’s, obviously, in the works.

As far as false reporting goes. If you were the AD, and you wanted the media to not report any leaks, what would you do? Perhaps, you would talk to said media, that is “in the know”, and strike a bargain with them; that if they keep this under wraps and help misdirect everyone, then in the future, you (the AD) will let them be the first to know the behind the scenes happenings of the University.

Everyone keeps acting like a psycho chick. “Where is he? Why hasn’t he called? I’m going to call him 1000x till he answers!!! Ok that’s it, I’m going to his house right now!!!”

Just be patient, use some emotional intelligence, and everything will be fine.

Also, it’s just bad business to make it known that you’re trying to hire x candidate. Why? Because no one, especially, someone with an ego (all professional coaches) EVER wants to be a “fall back” or “second best”. Everyone wants to believe their the number one candidate, and not just someone their organization is settling on.

Been lurking, observing and posting mildly in the Gruden threads since the beginning and I have learned a couple of things about VolNation:

...

3.) GIF time is good time. The best time I have had in my entire time on VolNation came during the extended GIF period in previous threads. If you need a smile on your face go to the teens and early 20s in the Gruden threads. I about died laughing. Through all of the GIF training sessions I have yet to learn how to post one myself so we may have to schedule another training session here soon.
