I am confident everything indicating Gruden's most recent answer is "no" is false.

It's funny, because if we hire a coach that ends up NOT succeeding, then Gruden will completely ruin the image he wanted to keep clean in East TN by not coaching. I think, again if he's not hired, what will put me over edge was his Rocky Top comment this morning.

The truth is in the middle, I honestly feel it's never gotten as far as grudenites say, but got further down the road than anti-Gruden folks have been saying.

Currie is working his tail off on big names outside of the grudeverse.

who knows. people beleived what they wanted to. and with the amount of misinformation that has been put out in the last 30ish hours, there's no telling what really happened, or didn't happen.

hyams said no offer was made, no pitch. you could argue that the other side is now back tracking putting out there that we got turned down.

now you put the attention on the AD and boosters and ask WTH did they really do here??? maybe that's the way some want it? dunno.

but none if it gives me the warm fuzzies on this particular aspect of the search.

Some deja vu coming in tonight with a poster earlier today showing a Babyvol screencap from 2012 of him confirming Gruden to us and then another babyvol screencap this year confirming Gruden to us......what a disappointment.

Waaay back in the day, early 70's, long before cell phones, the UT dorms had one land line per room, shared by all occupants.

Parents would call in the evenings, checking up on their kids, and a roommate would truthfully say, "She's at The Library."

Happy parent, happy student. No lie.

I had an 'emergency credit card' and the bill went to my parents. I would buy rounds at the Library and when my Mom asked I told her I had over due books.
