Fear not until a trusted source says it fell through or another coach steps up to the podium. I fully trust at least AtlantaVol to live up to his word that he will tell us if it falls through.

My sources include donors, former players, nfl folks, people who work for prominent UT boosters, among coaches and others. I trust them. And I give UT/Currie credit. Decision is up to Gruden.

I'm starting to get pissed off about this whole ordeal. One minute it's a done deal, the next we have never even spoken to the guy, an hour later and he's on a plane to Knoxville, later that evening he's turned us down. One thing I know is that NOBODY can be trusted. Absolutely nobody has been right from the beginning on this, but I will say that insiders last night told us that this misinformation and rumors that he said no would be floating around. Let's dig in and keep believing Grudenites. Man your fox holes. It's time for war.

And as I lay my beautiful head down on my pillow, I cannot hate but think that there are some people out there who truly know if Gruden will be our next coach or not. I need to know those people.

I agree, besides the playoffs, this is the biggest story in college footbal right now. And it will be the biggest after The Grude is introduced! I still hope they hold off and introduce him about 30 minutes after Florida announce their new HBC! Because thats all I have read and heard since we fired BJ. That we would have to pick out of whats left, after they make their choice.

buys more time for what? what do they need time for? there's still two weeks in the regular season left. Gruden's not coaching.

there's literally no reason to need to buy more time.

there's more good reason to announce it as soon as humanly possible to get ahead of FL and have a month with this incoming class to get it back together.

I'm still on board, I think everyone is just a little skeptical after the 2012 debacle. Either way, it appears UT has done all they can do to make Tennessee great again this time around, and that's all we can ask for. Here's to hoping Jon is coming home this time. Dilly Dilly!

I'm not sure its fair to call Vol fans on here "suckers" after how 2012 went down. There is way more reason to believe that he actually did say no than to believe some secret is being kept and we have him locked down.

Its the same old song and dance.....I want it to be true, and I've been full Grude for weeks, but this just keeps dragging out and after tonight my Grudometer has dropped from 99.9% to 25%.

He has 9 followers and before his threat to “out” them was begging for more info on the situation. I’m not saying they’re not trolling, but I highly doubt this guy knows anything.
