Same goes for Taco Bell, surprisingly. I never really even liked it. But when I moved, it's the first craving I had and it never went away. Love it now

Im a Knoxville native who tried Pals on a work trip to the tri-cities. Was totally underwhelmed. Must be a local thing. My frat brothers at UT from Kingsport talked like Pals was unbeatable. Every community has their local haunts they revere i suppose

Since were talking burgers... In Memphis, its Dyers, Hueys and Flying Saucer for me. My favorite is the Sunrise Burger at Hueys... has a fried egg and bacon on it.
I have to go to the VA hospital about once a month, and the recently put that one on State of Franklin Rd. I may have to give it one more try next time I go up there.
Its kind of like olives. I hate them, but I eat them about twice a year to remind myself why I hate them.
I agree, posted that earlier but weve also got sammons with the Big Chief Burger in Etown thats a good burger and great seasoned fries and then also not a burger joint but Taco Johns blows Taco Bell outta the water.
