I was expecting an update last night from Hargis (family friend) after he followed up with his sources and those sources say they can not tell him or any media any more updates from here on out. After his appearance on Finebaum yesterday and grumors trending on twitter there were several unhappy folks. You won’t see David Blackburn say anything either if he wants a position
within the AD.

On a side note, I ran into a buddy that I’m close with at EMJ (higher up project manager). His boss Jay Jolley (he is a mid level booster) who is also the president of the company has told him that we are going to close the deal on gruden this week (he was told that Monday) and expected an announcement before Vandy. This is now twice I’ve heard that this week from extremely reliable people.

Hmmm interesting? I took it to mean that the offense he brings in is going to be so amazing that it will need a bigger challenge. Since we won't be kicking that many field goals, we might as well move the goal posts back to make it more fun.

No, I don't like his opinion because after seeing him post over a period of time here and tos it is clear he no longer has information but gets off on people constantly asking for his opinions, etc. Once upon a time he did have inside sources, he no longer does. Any thing he gets now is so far down the line it's worthless. I think he listed jimmy hyams as one of his sources once

I don't really care about getting dragged through the mud. I only post what I trust - I corroborated the Dale Jones story early on with knowledge from a person who directly knew Dale (long story on how I knew that person) and I literally broke the von pearson assault story a couple years ago and got dragged for it, ended up being completely right. that's all I have and all i'll probably have until the AD media dept hears more.

Hey bro, I don't know you, you don't know me...but I sympathize with ya. I have avoided the forum for months because the butch drama/dumpster fire was just too much. This school is literally a part of my family for 3 generations, so it's akin to watching a loved one going through a personal tragedy and having zero control or ability to fix it. I allowed myself to get sucked in to the hope that we will get back to the UT of old. I've lurked on this thread all fall, but didn't dare post until a few nights ago.

Hang in there, resolution is coming one way or the other and it's just gotta be better than brick by brick and the turn over trash can.

So what you're saying is, he may or may not coach at UT and no one really knows anything?

Keep in mind that Gruden always stresses he is very sensitive to current coaches, even on the recent M&M interview. This should be a pretty big clue as to not expect news on a regular basis. Let it play out.

I finally managed to break out of the Humdrumvee!

If you guys would slow down, I would get back on the Funvee...
