I get that
However you quoted a post that didnt have his name in it and decided to put his name in your post.
Again, I was hoping this topic ended last night after 2 hours and yet its still here 12 hours later.
That's what I'm thinking. Everyone should have came to the table with what they wanted from the beginning.
I won't say Gruden is being greedy or unrealistic but it seems odd that the deal is "done", apparently Currie made major concessions to make this happen and Gruden keeps asking for more.
But I'm not privy to what's being asked for. It could be something as small as fresh raisenettes in his office every day.. who knows..
this is what i'm afraid of.
if the contract has been signed, there are no more goal posts. if the goal posts are being moved, this is not a done deal.
if it's not a done deal and he's moving the goal posts, he's backing out, but doesn't want to say no ... wants us to tell him we're done and walk away.
jmo
i sure do hope i'm wrong here, but i can't be the only one that connected those dots.
Nobody is dragging his name. The troll issue is still being discussed and bcarter said he only trusts Deer park, LWS, and Skeeter. I saw where he donated money just the other night. I was simply saying I don't believe he is a troll. Geez...
Then I'm out. Raisinettes? That is not a quality snack and not something I think the Tennessee coach should be eating.
Pork rinds? Unhealthy but I'll support that.
Kit Kat? 100%
Raisinettes...get out of here with that.

Im not an insider, nor claim to be one just happen to be close friends with someone whos in the know.
vol für das Leben;14576615 said:As I stated to another poster, I frankly dont know. Thats all the info I was given. I myself took that to mean demands by Gruden but never thought of date/time or anything else for that matter. Once again I absolutely am NOT an insider.
I do not think any ESPN employee would know what JG is thinking - don't care how close they think they are to him. I've experienced numerous time in my career situations where Execs were convinced that someone would never leave and actually stated - "they are my best friend, they would tell me if they were considering anything else" - only to have the person announce their resignation the next day. TIFWIW - I don't think the ESPN crowd has a clue what's going on - either way.
